Admission Nurse

Josephine Caring Community seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Nurse to join our team as an Admissions Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for the admission and assessment of residents. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure a smooth and efficient admission process.

Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients upon admission
- Collect and review medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Obtain patient medical history and perform physical examinations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions in medical records
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Washington
- Previous experience in skilled nursing facility setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical documentation
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
- Compassionate nature with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care
